I'd like to buy this three-spoke 1985 firebird steering wheel for my '91 RS Camaro, but am unsure if it will fit correctly and if the Camaro horn cap will fit. The FB one looks different, but it might be just the angle of the photo.
So will it bolt-in and accept the 1985-87 Camaro horn cover?
The steering wheel itself will fit your column. However, a Camaro horn button doesn't fit a Firebird steering wheel very well. It actually does attach but it will be at a slight angle so the top of the Camaro emblem will point to about the 11:00 position instead of straight up and down. Also, the Camaro horn button is actually bigger than the center section of the Firebird wheel so it doesn't look right and doesn't really fit tightly into the wheel.
My friend has that same kinda wheel on his Iroc. So he's got a camaro with a firebird horn. I'm sure you could fill the bird indent with something and paint it so It'd have no logo...

Just an idea, tell your buddy to try getting a Fiero center cap for his wheel. (the one with the fiero shield emblem in the middle) Pop the Fiero logo out and put a camaro shield in there. It should work ok, might take a little modding of the center cap, but not much.
I'd look into getting a steering wheel from a late 80s Cavalier Z24 or an early 90s Lumina Z34. It's a nice three spoke design, and it already has the bowtie emblem for the horn button. If you're not familiar with this wheel, see it here http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1992-...317|240%3A1318
