i just put some in mine. there is a bar on the center rear hump that i had to cut off. and i was not able to use the little leg covers from the third gen. i also need to order the seat belt holders since i bought dark seats.

Re: 97 rear seats fit in a 3rd gen?

you have to cut the bar in the back on the drive shatf hump or it will show through.
not a hard job, just need a cutting power grinder.

Re: 97 rear seats fit in a 3rd gen?

you only have to cut the bar IF you had an OEM split rear seat... If your back seat was 1 whole back piece from the factory (and not 2) then you should have no problems at all...

Re: 97 rear seats fit in a 3rd gen?

In my old 92, I swapped the OEM split rear for 4th gen single rear seat & never cut out the pivots in the middle. They weren't in they way either.
