would this seat fit

i drive an 87 Iroc Z/Z28. also i drive a 96 mitsubishi 3000gt. Hey what can i say. i got american muscle. had to have some asian muscle. (made sure it doesnt sound like pissed off bees in a tin can)

But the camaro seats suck hands down. sat in my friends 4th gen. they were comfy for about 10 minutes.

But my 3000gt seats are great. and they slide forward or back so much so its good for people of any height. im 6'2'' and if i adjust the seat all the way back i can barly hit the clutch in all the way. yeah they got good leg room PLUS THE ARE COMFY!! and they dont look *****.

and i noticed that the mitsubishi eclipse has the same seats, so im guessing all mitsubishi sports have the same seats

so any1 know if they fit in a 3rd gen?

Re: would this seat fit

I doubt it, but if you aren't bad with fabrication work you could make your own seat brackets, or maybe you might only have to drill some holes in your pre-existing ones. Do some searching around on TGO and on the web. There should definitely be some articles about that.

Re: would this seat fit

it would bepend on the width of the seat and how high it sits on its track.

it will not be a bolt in deal, but with some light fab work im sure it can be done.

Re: would this seat fit

will they directly fit, no, but they can be installed. I used to have awesome seats from a Mitsubishi Starrion/Conquest. Those seats are GREAT, but I had to remove them because they started to look too damaged/torn up. What I did is remove the Starrion seat brackets and lined up the Fbody brackets. I was lucky that the front bolts were the same length apart in both seats. Not the rear, so I got a piece of flat aluminum and bolted it to the seat then the seat tracks to the aluminum...
