Seat answers Quick Please!

I'm heading to the junkyard tomorrow morning... and I'm looking for new seats. Ideally 4th gen leather... but I'd pretty much take anything that'd bolt in.

Are there any other GM seats... or anything else that could bolt right in?

GM has re-used parts once or twice that i've noticed... any help would be more than appreciated.

thanks!

Re: Seat answers Quick Please!

From what I understand, most other GM seats will swap in with a rail swap.

there's a thread around here somewhere that has a list of all the seats that can be swapped in, whether its a direct fit or you would have to do a rail swap

Know any seats that might look the best?

I don't have power seats, but would it be difficult to switch to them?

a rail swap is easy. unbolt from the car and there are 4 bolts that bolt the rail to the seat just unbolt and switch. power seats wouldnt be hard just wire in the power and ground and put a fuse in.

Pretty sure S10 leathers would look nice.

Re: Seat answers Quick Please!

pretty much any seat is bolt in if you swap out the rails. I currently have seats from a Mitsubishi Starion. But alot of GM seats have the same pattern bolts. Alot of Chevy seats look similar too...

Thanks!

Got any pics please?

got plenty of time now... been a crazy day... went to the junkyard with my dad... started thinking of my safety, started looking at new rides, test drove a 04 gto... basically thought 'sherm' was a goner, then looked at a 04 330ci... not quite me. but for now looks like I'm keeping it! woo

Re: Seat answers Quick Please!

The black seats are from the Starion. The red and gray seats are from a 4th gen Camaro...
