Finished up my interior

Well some of you all know I have done the 4th gen dash swap, well I have been thinking about how to make the 3rd and 4th gen A-pillers look right merged together, well I think I found a happy medium. It isnt the best I could have done but it works for now. I should have spent alittle bit more time blending the 2 pieces together. And also my upper dash panel cracked a week or so ago so I said what the heck I will cover that to. I saw this on one of the other sites and liked how it looked. Well let me know how you all like it. Mind you this was my first try at recovering anything...LOL The a pillers in that one pic looks worse then it is..... And the last pic is the before

I also came across some black interior panels so it is real close to being done inside.

Work looks great

Not a fan of the 4th gen interior swap. The center console maybe, but the dash needs to stay out of our cars.

-Take care

I have driven a 4th gen, its a nice car and a nice interior, for THAT CAR (I do plan to purchase an 02 WS6). Its the same as with people who say the WS6 hood on our cars is dumb, because its NOT for our cars and the lines for all hell don't LINE up. I feel that way with these dash mods, but like I said the 4th gen center console in our car is way sexy....just not the dash, And if really specific just not the bubble over the gauges on the dash, make that a little lower or straight, and I bet the dash would look better. But then there is the cockpit curve it has as well as the multiple (what I like to call women type) vents. The reason I don't like the cockpit style is it makes you feel like that is the center of the car, and it's not.

Either way I feel 50/50 for this mod on doing it and never doing it. It may grow on me, maybe I need to see more of them.

Re: Finished up my interior

Thanks for all the words guys. Well all that matters is I like all the 4th gen stuff I have done to my car. I love the looks of the 3rd gen, like the power stoping abilities of the 4th gen stuff. Hense the lt1, ls brakes front rear, and interior. But like you said eaither you like it or not...Thanks again guys

Re: Finished up my interior

Interior looks good. I actually remember checking out your cardomain page a while back, looking at the 4th gen seatbelt install. I'm still tinkering with the interior. Never could get the stock rear seat belt retractor covers to sit flush with those 4th gen rear shoulder belts.
