Z/28 embroided seats? - Third Generation F-Body Message Boards

There is a guy on craigslist near me selling seats out of a third gen that were said to be stock that happen to have z28 embroidered into the headrest, curious to whether there were actual z28 embroidered seats and if so which years and if anyone has any pictures that would be great!

How much is he selling them for because these are always hard to find if there original in good condition

The factory z28 leather seats did not have embroidery on them....

Those are sick leather seats i wish i could find a set as i would snag them in a heartbeat if the price was right. There is a guy on kijiji up here in ontario selling a set of embroderd seats as well but they are black and have the bowtie in silver on the headrest. Not the same I know but still cool and i thought I'd help him out as i got a ton of stuff off of him already for my car.

At Carlisle in 2007 I saw a 1992 RS with the 25th anniversary logo embroidered in the seats and it was really nice, but it had to be done aftermarket. It's hard to find an embroidery shop to do these things anymore, as a large settlement was reached in 2002 limiting companies to only doing licensed logos, whether in mass production or one-offs. I still hoping to find a mom/pop shop to embroider my seats some day soon.

I took my original factory leather seats in gray and had them re done with the 25th logo embroidered in the head rest. Won a few interior car shows after that. I agree, it is hard to find a nice set of factory leather.
