Has anybody had any experience buying a replacement carpeted floor mat set?
I am looking for a set and wondered who makes a good set, and who I should stay away from?
Look on ebay i seen some nice ones. I personally didn't want to spend 100$ on floor mats so i got a set from Autozone. They're the heavy duty rubber kind that have the chevy logo on them. They clean up really well and should last forever.
I agree about classic industries. You can download a pdf of their catalog. They have a lot of options for our cars. You can even get z-28 logos, etc specific to third gens. I believe they are around $100 a set.

I just checked the catalog that they sent me for free and the 82-92 floor mats a 4 set were about $130
I looked for myself mostly mine went poof in the last month of redoing the interior.
Also you could get a set of 2 but it was for earlier models but they were cheaper then the set of 4
Good luck and have fun o btw if u get them from classic industries at the moment they are having an 20% off sale
I was looking at the Designer Mat series from www.autofrills.com - they will send samples if requested, and can do the same licensed logos as LLoyds, but their mats are much cheaper.
Not to take away from Tony, but there was a thread posted last year by me regarding floor mats reproduced by ACC with the passenger floor contour. They used my original set and made exact duplicates to the factory. At the time, they were only available through Eckler's. Do a search for the post.
I've also heard that Jim has a nice set (Jims85IROC) but I haven't seen him around lately. again, do a search on the History forum and here and you should locate the thread. I got all 4 reproduced for something like $70.
