need help on speedo

hey guys i was changing the bulb color behind my gauges to red and accidently broke my speedometer needle off. im looking to replace it and i dont know how to reset it or how to get it off. any help would be much appriciated.

I've read that a fork can be used to pry the needle off. That said, with 20+ year-old plastic, the chances that'll you break the needle are significant--and there's the chance that you'll break or bend the metal/wiring piece that the needle mounts to. Should you get lucky, you'll simply have to play with the needle to get the speedo to read correctly. A newer speedo head, a 110 or 140, would be a simple swap.
