Re: rear seat bracket

it just the part the bolt theads into! It might of been welded! when I went to tighten the the bolt the square nut on the back side started spinning with it! Im going to look at it some more and try to weld it back but its in a tight place!

I was just wondering if this was a common problem..i guess not!

Re: rear seat bracket

One of mine came loose. I am going to weld it back once I get my floors done. I have bigger problems to attend to with my floors.

Re: rear seat bracket

Single mounting bolt goes into this bracket.....for holding bottom rear seats in place.

Re: rear seat bracket

One of mine broke loose as well - I just got a friend to help me - one of use held the nut up in there with fingertips, while to other got it started, then we squeezed a set of needle nose vice grips in there to hold it. You have to have an extra set of hands, and both working from opposite sides, and both have to push back on the seat foam to hold the seat out of the way to get in there. A little patience, alot of cussing, and you'll get it (have a cold one handy as a reward to keep you focused).
