Gauge clust removal??

Ok so I did a search and found that there is a clip on the back of the cluster that you have to push down on for the cluster to be removed.. here is my issue.. i got all the bolts off and the cluster starts to pull out.. i push down on the clip but nothing gets released.. the cluster stays attatched... just wondering if anyone has any solutions on how to get it to come loose.. i tried holding it with pliers but still wont budge..

I assume you mean the clip that holds the speedo cable to the cluster. Grab the cable with your hand and push the clip with your thumb. Pull cable away from cluster.
