98-02 Cavalier HVAC Controls swap. Anyone been succesful?

I saw in a thread on here where someone had swapped the HVAC controls out of a Sunfire/cavalier 98-02 into a third gen Camaro. Has anyone else done this and how easy is it to do? If I recall they had some trouble with the hot/cold slider...
