can i add GTA steering wheel radio controls? - Third Generation F-Body Message Boards

i was wondering if anyone has tried to add radio controls to their steering wheel

the easiest way i can figure is take a gta 88-89 maybe even 87 steerign columb with wheel and controls

but how would you while it?

and im not a fan of gray with my black interior has anyone added radio controls from a different car?

also.... does radio need to change as well? im jsut not sure how the controls interface with the radio.

or does anyone know how to hook up radio control buttons to a radio? doesnt have to be in teh wheel i jsut want the volume control and channel control closer to my hands

i have an 88 gta the guy i bought the car from took the steering wheel off and replaced it with a different one. the wire is still there for the controls, under the horn cap, also i have another wiring harness behind my sony radio that is not plugged into anything, i always assumed it was for the steering wheel controls.
