Re: Anyone use these seats???

I didnt use those ones but i currently have another style from them in mine and idk about those that you are looking at but the seat adjuster( one that makes you go back and forth) is a little hard to use, but i like the seats though, the passagers seat was a little tricky cause i had to fabricate some back mounts since the floor pan dips down like an inch or two.

Re: Anyone use these seats???

8" wider, at the shoulder, than my current 4th gen seats? 24" vs 16"

That is a lot of extra width......

I'd love to know how well those fit in the car. I'm fat guy and i have no intention of losing weight! I'm need of a wider seat to sit in. I like the red stitching detail on that seat would be nice with a red interior.

I'm a fat guy too. And some of the best fat guy racing seats are the factory Recaro sets found in the early/mid 80's trans ams. Adam :-)

Your MySpace is set to Private, so we can't easily see the pic.

Why do people set those to Private anyways? What is that people post, yet don't want it to be seen? Why bother Uploading in the first place?

Re: Anyone use these seats???

MikeSmith, have you bought those seats and installed them? If so can you tell me what to expect? I just bought a set of them for my 88 Iroc, it was the closest thing I could find to my factory color scheme. Do any of you guys have any experience putting in these aftermarket seats? Can I use the factory seating bracket or do I need to go ahead and order a sparco?

Thanks
