Custom Digital Guages?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/DAKOT...Q5fAccessories

Dont know if this is new or not, but they are to me, so dont flame.
Saw these on eBay while searching for an affordable 145mph dash setup. They're waaaaaaayyyyy outta my price range, but I was wondering what TGO members thought. I think they're kinda cool. Not sure I'd get them, (because of price mostly, but maybe Id consider it if it was affordable.)

Your thoughts? Thought Id at least throw it out there
**Edit** They're for the 82-89 camaros

Re: Custom Digital Guages?

I hear Dakota Digital is a good company, but i think youd be able to find that exact cluster for a cheaper price.

Re: Custom Digital Guages?

Dakota digital makes good stuff. They make clusters for most muscle cars, I was gonna put one in my Nova before rust reared it ugly head. That's a actually a decent price for a new cluster.

Re: Custom Digital Guages?

They'll make a cluster for anything. All you have to do is send them a ready to install analog cluster and they'll fit it with their digital gauges. I have one for my 92 RS, I had them set the odometer to 177,000 to match the actual miles on the car, it now has about 235,000. They're going for about $200 more now than I paid for mine. BTW, they are not plug and play, you have to to some wire splicing to install them.

And here's the 82-89 cluster from their site.

Re: Custom Digital Guages?

Personally, I'd leave it stock. I used to want custom this custom that.. leather interior, 18's, just like every guy on here.

I've learned to appreciate stock Iroc styling though, almost everything on these cars was designed specifically for it.

Stocks a beautiful thing. It's almost like waiting for marriage, though.
