Fuel Level Gauge

Hey guys i just bought an auto meter fuel level gauge and dont want to hook it up wrong. I made a custom dash plate out of aluminum i had sitting around because none of my stock gauges worked. But the question is this... does anyone know what colors the wires are for this gauge. I cut the stock harness and i had two wires pulled for the fuel level. I think they were dark and light brown. and if these are correct how do i hook them up

i believe our cars' fuel level wire is the only pink wire in the cluster not to be confused with the pink with the black stripes. you wire that pink one to your sender and then connect the negative on the gauge to a good ground and the positive to a 12v source. I think all our cars' fuel level sender is 0-90ohms so hopefully thats the specs of your new gauge.

ofcourse someone can correct me if im wrong.

good luck
