White Interior?

Hi Guys,
I've decided to change the interior in my Formy to black. So it'll be black on black, and I plan on totally blacking out the interior. Like stuff that was never made in black, painted black. But I'd like another Formy, an arctic white one. What do you guys think a white interior would look like? I know I'd have to paint or custom make everything. Would like to hear some opinions.
Thanks
Alex

Re: White Interior?

My Nova had a white vinyl interior and I never had any problems keeping it clean. Had white carpet too, guess I'm just a clean freak.

Re: White Interior?

haha ya a white carpet would have to be a trailer queen or a car show/cruise ONLY car...even that you would have to be putting trash bags on your *** and shoes to not get it dirty.

White would be different but idk im not crazy about white interiors. IMO white interiors should be left to the old impalas painted in crazy metallic green paint with 24in rims. Oh yes cant forget the white dice from the mirror...haha

Anyway I think the white formy should also have a full black interior. Black looks sweet on any car tho. If you want to be different white might be cool but to me it just doesnt fit the attitude of our cars.

Re: White Interior?

If you do decide to go white make sure to get a dash pad because if not you will not be able to see s*&t when driving in sunny weather. I did all the interior whit in my Grand National and that was my only complaint was the dash.

Re: White Interior?

Well, the Nova was a cruiser, and you had to take your shoes off if you wanted a ride That car was b*tchin though, white buckets with a hurst shifter, all the trim was white, even the dash pad. And it came that way from the factory, never should have sold it. Damn "recession."

I'm really just looking for the contrast when I go to car shows, my formy and future formy won't see any heavy driving. I'm gonna try and do some photoshopping to try and get an idea.
Thanks for all your input
Alex

Re: White Interior?

it definitely would be different. I think white interiors = classic. Like 60's Corvettes and Lowrider's. I don't think white interior = performance. But I would definitely like to see it. Specially white on white...

Re: White Interior?

I have a interior in my 94 TA, and love it. Of course, it's only the seats and door panel inserts....I probably wouldn't recommend doing anything more than that.

Re: White Interior?

Thanks for all the input guys. I think I'm gonna try it...... in like 2011. That's probably when I'll have time for another project. Now I've just gotta decide what should be white and what should be black.
Alex

PS: Hey Tony, can you guys make seat covers and trim custom ordered or just the preset colors?

We can do a stock seat color & pattern with an insert, but we do not have seat covers with patterns other than stock (if that makes sense)

Gotcha, thanks for the info.

I think it might look good ALL white, and if it doesn't I can just paint it black. I've also been browsing around craigslist and ebay and I think I want a pair of Fiero Formulas too! Ah it will never end, I need a real job
Thanks guys

Re: White Interior?

I personally think white sounds cool. would also be original and probably one of a kind. If i did that I would either go with white leather or vinyl seats and the same on the upper part of the door panels and use carpet on the bottom door panels. I would really like to see this done! its like if rolls royce made a firebird or something. lol

hey tony, do you have this pattern?

http://www.thirdgen.org/techboard/al...pictureid=1989

i'm not exaclty sure what color or style this is called. if someone could help out with that it would be greatly appriciated
