nce between a Camaro and Firebird Dash Pad

Anybody know FOR SURE what the difference is between a Camaro and Firebird dash pad is???? I've been told they are not the same size!!! True ???--- Will a Fbird pad fit in a Camaro??? Do not care about speaker holes or any defroster vents will it fit in the place of a Camaro dash or will it not fit??? thanx fed387

Other than the speaker grilles and defroster vents, a Camaro dash has a little portion cut out at the leading edge of the pad to clear the center heater vents in the dash. A firebird one doesn't; it is straight all the way across.

I would imagine you can interchange them, but I don't know if it would look right, and not sure how well a Firebird one would clear those center vents.

Never hears anythng about them being different sizes.

The firebird dashpad is also about 2 inch shorter in width and the holes for the screws do not match.

it is a difference size, will leave a nice gap between the dash and the windsheild, and the holes will not line up. Been there, tried it.
