IMHO, the Mega Shifter has a wanna-be manual look to it. I've been running a Dual Gate for... well, since you could buy it from Summit. I like it; only problem was / is I couldn't get the steering column-lock cable to hook up.

I been reading and comparing my self an that Hurst Dual/Gate 2 shifter tops off the B&M Mega SHifter by a lot. But the only probloem is trying to get a Hurst Dual/Gate 2 now these days.
One of the things I didn't like about the megashifter is the fact that you cannot be in neutral and put it up in park, It had to be in OD or reverse to put it back in park.
No problem, come to think of it, I believe that once you went out of reverse and into neutral, you had to drop it down into OD before putting it back up into reverse. If you don't like the looks of it, by all means dont buy the megashifter. Not much, if any, better then the stock shifter other than it is a ratchet shifter. Not trying to offend anyone, that's just my opinion.
That looks real dope I would of stick with the black ball shifter, my openion. Hey I was looking at your coustome paint job on your hood what do you got goin on there?
Both great shifters. I have the B&M in my 90 Camaro and it's really easy to use. I don't see the problem with having to put it into drive in order to put into Park. As for the one poster that says it sits too high, it really isn't that bad at all.
I believe I had the other shifter in my 81 Camaro Z28. Great shifter too. My friends would ask me, "how the hell do you use that" then I would show them how to real fast.
