Steering Wheel Horn Button

Hi everyone. I have an 86 Camaro Sport Coupe with the rectangular horn button, and was wondering if anyone can give me instructions on removing it. I took the rubber cover off of it, and can't figure out how to take the plastic part off without breaking it.

I searched this site, and Google for the answer, but haven't found it yet. I'm sure it's something simple, but I would appreciate any help.

Re: Steering Wheel Horn Button

Just pull it off. There's I think 6 tabs that hold it in the steering wheel. Thats all there is to it.

Re: Steering Wheel Horn Button

pulling it straightaway off can cause its cliff breakage. better way is to open up the steering portion and take it off from underneath
