I just picked up an Instrument cluster from the local U-pull it for my 86 Camaro... The new one has a tach and my car doesn't... Will this plug right up? or are there more headaches?
If already posted, sorry, please link me.

Should be plug and play after you replace some sending units.

Thats about the 145 speedo, i picked up one from an 86... same as mine, only goes to 85 but has a tach and other gauges... Can i change the speedo and odometer from mine and plug it right in with the other cluster?

If you have 'idiot' lights in your car, regardless of the mph of the speedo, you'll need to swap some sending units. Hopefully, you're swapping V8 to V8 or V6 to V6.

It's from a V6 into a V6 for a couple of months, then I'm putting in a 350... More headaches to look forward to? I don't have my heart set on this cluster... it was cheap anyways... Will the tach work even though its a gas gauge there?

The car is already setup (wiring) for the good (145mph, tach, etc) gauges, regardless if it came from the factory with only the gas gauge and speedo. You can mix and match gauges to your hearts content. As long as they have the correct sending units feeding them (sending units for gauges, not idiot light sending units) they will work.
If you plan on swaping to a v8 down the road, you will need a tach from a v8 car. The v6 and v8 tachs have differnt resistances. I made a post about it asking some questions, I believe it was in the electronics board. I ended up coming across the correct tach so I didn't need to change the resistance.
