Ashtray Lid Spring

Is there a part number for this or a place to order one?

I just need the spring, or do I need to find a used part somewhere that is for sale?

Thanks.

why not try a junkyard and just pocket it? that way you'll also get the experience of taking it out for when you put it in...

Bend your own. It's shaped like a V with a Z-bend in each end. A piece of music wire from the hardware store and about 5 minutes with side cutters and needle nose pliers makes a really nice replica.

Why not just come clean with what you want. Many yards will simply give you small, insignificant parts. Even if they charge, the cost would be minimal.

I've just heard stories from friends about crazy junkyards..."Oh, spring from a Camero, thats a performance spring, so we'll charge you $20..."

If it was a small sensor (like a TPS, or coolant), I would say something, and normally its like $1 or less, but a little piece of metal? common. I don't know about you guys, but the junkyards here charge $1 entry fee

2/3rds of the junkyards I've been to, won't even let you in the yard to look for parts, cause *******s will steal anything that fits in a pocket.
