Hopefully Mods will allow this to stay, or move it to classifieds. I tried posting there, with no success. I even waited the 2-week minimum after registering, still no dice. I registered here just to offer these, because I figured someone would like them. I no longer own my F-body. Anyway.....
Folks, I have a set of 3rd gen T-top shades. They are brand spankin' new. They are grey in color. The GM OEM part number is 10041685, and they are no longer available. I bought these for my Formula, and never used them, ever. The backing on the sticky-side of the velcro is still in tact. They are boxed in their original box, with the original paperwork/instruction sheet. Did I mention they are brand new?
I can email photos to those who are interested. I will sell them for $40, plus shipping. I can take PayPal. If you would like them, send me your zip code and I will calculate shipping cost.
I am a long time member on several automotive and boatng forums and have bought and sold many items with other members. Nothing to worry about here. I will even be more than happy to talk on the phone if you would like.
How is the foam? I have 6 of these laying around that are brand spankin' new and in the box. I opened one and the foam is deteriorating. A finger print doesn't bounce back. The one on the right looks to have the same issue at the top in the middle.

Well, I just looked at them and the dimple you pointed out is no longer there. Those pictures were taken 2-3 weeks ago. To be honest, until you pointed it out I never even noticed it. I just gave a couple light inconspicuous test pokes, and the foam more-than-likely doesn't seem as responsive as it probably once was. I mean really, these things are pushing 20-years old. To prevent permanent dimples, I probably wouldn't intentionally press hard into the foam......but then again why would you?
They are clean, unused, in great shape, and the kicker......no longer available from GM. If someone would like them, I have a set here ready to ship.
