Well the air in the window thing you can try replacing the weather strip mine did the same thing untill i got new, the rattles I think that comes with the car there isnt much you can do except buy the rubber drawer linners and take every thing apart and put pieces of the rubber in between the two plastic pieces, screw it back togeather and then trim the rubber. That should cut down on some of the noise.
The rattling - It's a painful time-consuming process, but you have to trace down the loose pieces and get them fixed one by one.
Like the dash vents - There's a tech article on inserting felt to keep them in place - that was a 15 minute job that helped mine alot - now the vents stay where I point them with no rattles. I used felt from the arts/crafts/fabric shop with adhesive backing already on it and it worked great - just cut to fit, peel the strip off the adhesive, and stick it on! This stuff can be used in many places to help.
A-Pillars will rattle - the sunlight and heat from 20+ years in th windshield will deteriorate the plastic clips that hold them. Same with B-pillars.
Ashtrays will rattle - use the felt again.
Console lid - make sure the screws are tight on the lid, and again use the felt around the top of the lip.
Underdash plastics - same thing - felt worked great around the Diag port and the fuse door.
Everywhere the plastics meet one another in the back I also used the felt in thin strips.
Biggest rattle - the windows and doors. There's a really really nice writeup on removing the door panels and fixing those rattles - do a search for it - all those lock rods, door handle components and window components rattle badly.
Plus - in the same article is instructions on adjusting the windows - maybe will solve the window issue. I've been fooling with mine for 2 years and I kinda gave up - if I get it adjusted to not rattle at 1/2 up, then it rattles at full up, and so-on. I finally just set it up so it doesn't rattle at full down and full up, everywhere in-between they rattle, but I always have the windows down unless it's raining.

Thanks alot, could you maybe send me a link to the article about adjusting the windows? That would be fantastic, I really appreciate your detailed answer.
I have the same problem with teh rattles, and yes new weatherstripping will fix that wooshing sound you get through your window. For the rattles i'm not that worried about it, I can't hear it over my exhaust and music.
ANd I beleive this is the thread he is thinking of...
i love air coming into my car. I had a loose or flapping t-top weather strip that sounded HORRIBLE at highway speeds but i put my glass t-tops back on and it was fine. As for the air i took my fuse panel plate off and its like air coming is is like a breeze on my feet
i have the same rattle problem. seems like everything in the doors and on the dash rattle like crazy.
Im going to pull the door panel off and give it a nice coating of Dynamat or something similar. Maybe ill just use bed liner coating because from what i hear, it has the same effect.
As for the wind coming in through your closed window, i had the same problem. I replaced my window/roof weatherstrips and the problem went away. Just for referance, i bought my weatherstrip kit from Summitracing.com and paid $146 shipped to my door for the windows, doors, and hatch seals. Talk about an awesome deal!

Im one of the lucky ones---My IROC is virtually free of rattles! The difference is probably SFC. My last IROC was a rattle trap and sounded like it was going to fall apart.
I know SFC help ALOT (especially if you have a T-Top car).
I just turn my stereo up so I can't hear the rattles! Or have someone sit in the passenger seat holding on the dash.
I did get rid of most of the rattle, just making sure all the screws and bolts around the dash are tight and snug. In some places I got some thin rubber and wedged in some areas very neatly so you can't see it.
