115 to145 help please

how can i change my 115 mph to 145 in my 92 camaro. noone drives that slow anymore and my car has been much faster but i wouldnt know cause of the speed-o. please let me know what would have to be changed

I believe the nationwide speed limit is 75mph - do much more driving above 115mph and it won't matter - they'll lock you up!

Since you have elctronic speedo, I'm assuming you'll have to get a 145mph speedo from a 1990 - 1992 car (maybe 1988+ but they will have white lettering instead of the yellow). A will yield more info.

Camaro speedos were mechanical 82-89 and without major modification will not fit later models. Camaro speedos were electric 90+, which is the type you'll need. A simple cluster swap (V8 to V8) will do the trick.

As JamesC said its basically a plug and play. All your fun is going to be in getting to take it off just a bunch of bolts and you'll have fun taking of the headlight switch. Here's a lil seret teres a white button underneath it, all you got to do is push it with a screw driver or so and pull out the switch, just like that. It took me like 30 mins trying to firgure that one, lamo.
