Pallex fabric used on reproduction seat covers - Third Generation F-Body Message Boards

Hi,

As repro seat covers don't exist for Lear Siegler seats, I will have to make new seats covers myself.

It's a little hard to find the right fabric, so does anyone knows who makes the Pallex cloth used on reproduction seat covers ? Or know where to order it ?
I know it's not an exact match but it must be pretty close to what was used originally.

I'm confused, your profile says Trans Am yet you're looking for Lear Siegler seat covers which are Camaro. Kidding, of course

Check Hawks, a board sponsor. I redid my 89 RS with a set from them and the results were awesome. They also advertise the Lear Siegler covers in a selection of 4 colors.

I know about Camaro L/S Conteur seats, but they were also used on Firebirds from 1983 to 1986 and both front seats had the adjustable pad.
1983 and 1984-later covers differ slightly.

The closest match are those but the front bottoms would have to be modified for the adjustable pad.

That clears up some confusion. I knew of the Camaro ones and some special edition ones for the Trans Am but not what they were called. Good luck with the search.
