dash covers

Anybody applied one of the covers you glue on over the factory dashboard.I just wanted to get an opinion of your results and maybe a picture.I've seen a few listed for about $75, and that seems reasonable if it looks good.

Thanks, Philip 92RS

Re: dash covers

I've seen the "dash pad covers" on places like ebay and it seems to me that these covers are attatched to the top of your existing dash pad with permanent adhesive. To me this means, never to be removed. Are the dash pad covers that 1A sells the same as these or are they a complete replacement of the dash pad? If they are the same, How are they attached? And what does "fit really good" mean? Is it going to look like the original dash pad or will you be able to tell if there is an aftermarket cover over the dash pad? Sorry to seem pushy, just have some questions, thanks

Ours do attatch with adhesive to the original dash pad cover. They fit snug and look nice. The speaker holes are a little different pattern than the original ones on the pad,but all in all they look decent.

I think a few of the guys our here have bought them from us.

Re: dash covers

Some pics of the overlapping of the pieces glued together along the edge facing me sitting in the car would be nice.I don't know why somebody just can't make one that replaces the factory dash is beyond me.
The picture in the link is not of the part being sold and is no use to me.

HI Phillip,

There are factory reproduction dash pads on the market.I think they are between 300-400 bucks.
