Manual sideview mirror adjuster.
I don't know what its called, all I know is that on my 88' bird its broken, and I need to know how to take it out of my donor car.
It looks complicated. Post pics if possible.

It's connected to the mirror - you have to remove the entire mirror and replace.

Re: Manual sideview mirror adjuster.
And by mirror (unless I'm mistaken), that means the entire side mirror (not just the glass). The glass pops off the passenger side where there is no inside control, but I tore the heck out of a driver's side mirror at a junk yard thinking the glass just popped off. Even if you unscrew the glass from the mirror, the interior adjusting **** won't fit through the hole at the base of the mirror when you try to pull it through from the outside. I don't have pics, but you are going to have to remove your interior door panel. The side mirror is held on by two hex bolts. Simple to remove, a pain to get to.

Thanks! hopefully when i get it taken apart, I can fix what ever is causing the problem. I don't want an entire new mirror.
