LTX and LSX Putting LT1's, LS1's, and their variants into Third Gens is becoming more popular. This board is for those who are doing and have done the swaps so they can discuss all of their technical aspects, including repairs, swap info, and performance upgrades.

LT1- 700R4 TCC. Will this work?

Another LT1 with 700R4 question(s).

Refer to 95 schematic: http://shbox.com/1/1995_pcm7.jpg
and 86 schematic: http://92b4crs.tripod.com/86wiring/dia-pics/24-0.jpg
You may want to print those out.

I dont really want to buy the tci or b&m lockup kit because of their price and some people complain about them.

One possible solution to make the tcc work is to use the LT1 pcm. On the 86, TCC Solenoid I'd disconnect A&D. Connect A to +12V ignition power. Next i'd connect the brake switch to C14 on the LT1 PCM. Then I'd run a wire from LT1 PCM D11 to D on the 86 TCC solenoid. Will this possibly work?

doesn't look like this will work. the 4th gear switch adds to this problem. Just going with a lockup kit...
