MI area LS1 swaps... Stenoid needs your help

I've been talking with Stenod Racing in Troy, MI who's looking for a 3rd gen with a LS1 swap so that they can finish mocking up a tubular k-member. They are known over on LS1Tech for building some serious FI setups. Since I'm on the W. Coast and can't give them a hand, I was curious if there are any members here who are in MI and could drop their car off for a little while they finish test fitting a tubular k-member. You would have to pay for the k-member when it is all finished, but they will cover the installation and labor costs associated with it if you choose to buy one. If anyone is interested or knows of someone around the MI area that's done a LS1 swap, please let me know.

Edit: Spelled Stenod wrong (was Stenoid).

Good luck with that. I may have thought about it if everything was free because I am sure they would have the car for some time.

With the money they would make off the K-member i would think they could let whoever leaves there car as a guinae pig would atleast get it free.

I'm sure that whoever has a car could work out something with Stenoid, but I'm in no position to deal back and forth with them on that issue.

I'm not sure if they are still looking or not. You could drop Joe an email (stenodperformance@sbcglobal.net) or give them a call (248-307-0056).
