Filler neck hose....?

1" filler neck for a plastic LS1 gas tank.

None of the local parts stores have that size fuel hose. They have bigger (listed under filler necks) and smaller (listed under fuel hose)... Autozone, NAPA, Oreillys, Advance... I can't even find it on the internet anywhere.

Has anyone replaced one of these hoses?
I could use my old one, but I'd really like to replace it.

I would suggest GM or maybe look for a local industrial hose supply company

I got one from fred beans... Let me see if I can get you the part number....

Crap...I cant find the part number. What I did was called my GM dealer, and I got them to give me the part number for the hose. Then I ordered it online. It was only about $15 I believe. Which is WAY cheaper than getting a length of fuel filler hose... That stuff is expensive.

But they are available from the dealer...and online if you have the GM part number. They come alittle longer, or atleast mine did, than stock. So you have some room to play.

Good luck!

Justin

Re: Filler neck hose....?

So I tried searching Fred Beans' site and they didn't have it on there, were you ever able to find the part number? How did everyone else end up making the fuel neck?

I was able to source some 1 1/4" Fuel hose locally, but I'm not sure what to do about the actual metal filler portion where the gas hose goes, suggestions?

Thanks
Tony
