Reluctor ring part#

looking for a part number for a 40 tooth reluctor ring .This is the last part I nead to finish my lt1 swap.I am also using a 4th gen insterment cluster. So I dont nead a cable speedo conversion just a vss signal.Woot first post

sry its a 700r4 wouldnt even use it if it hadnt just had a rebuild

Have you done the search on what Firebat had to do for his 700R4, his was rebuilt also and said that he would go with the 4L60E if he had it to do all over again. He ran into a bunch of problems getting his put together, just do a search in this forum and you should find it.

yes I did but he gives no part number for the ring. no big deal I will proly just call a local trans shop and get the part from them.

Don't really need a part number if you go through a gm dealership/parts-dealer. Just call up a local gm dealer if you have one. Order a vss reluctor for a 95 z28, 4l60e. I think it was around $5 but I don't remember for sure. If you don't need it anytime soon, i could call up my gm dealer and get the number.

thanks for the reply but i think I will just get it from the local trany shop. The gm dealers in my earea pritty much suck.i will post the part num when I get it tomarow .just incase anyone els neads the info.
