I got my car dynoed again today after I replaced the bad plugs that I dyoned it with last time. The car feels a lot faster with the new plugs (old ones were fouled) so I thought I would see a good increase. The dynoed 2 rwhp more! I do not have the old graph sorry. The car still has the 2.73s with a t56. I am getting my 4.10s installed this weekend. We dynoed the car in 3rd, 4th, 2nd and 1st for giggles. It looks like the car picked more horse in 1st from 5200+ to 6k than the other gears! I wonder if the 2.73s and the t56 don't like each other on the dyno? I also have stock 98 that were port matched (bad job?) to a FAST intake. I currently have a LS6.
Last time we dynoed the car, my tuner said I was running out of fuel up top. I have stock injectors, unknown year. The car doesn't seem to make any good power after 5200 rpm.
Here are my mods, TR230/224
Ls6 intake
SLP underdrive pulley
Hawks Long tubes
3 inch mandrel bent, ORY, into a single Flowmaster 40 series
Tr6s
Msd wires

I think its the stock TPI thats killing the power up top. I am getting my Holley fuel pump tomorrow. Is the TPI pump dying past 5k?

The stock TPI fuel pump is sketchy on a stock LS1. With a healthy cam like yours its my guess thats your problem. I also recommend the hotwire mod for the fuel pump wiring. Pretty basic really. Use the PCM to trigger relay directly to the fuel pump rather than routed through the PCM so you dont get voltage drop at high RPM. Very common mod on the fourth gens
My old 346 setup had a TR230 in it with home ported heads, LS6 intake, pulley, hawks LT's, and a tune and it put down 399/380 on a set of slicks through a 9".
I definitely think your stock TPI pump is hurting you... I had a walbro 255.
My 402 now puts down over 600 on the bottle.
