Good LS1 Compression?

Hi everyone,
I'm looking at a LS1 to buy and the compression test on the motor was 190 over 180, the motor has 42,000 on it, I was wondering if any one knows what the compression readings are on a new LS1? any help would be great!

Re: Good LS1 Compression?

180-190psi is plenty; sound like perfectly healthy compression numbers to me.
