L92 carb intake - 3rd gen firebird

so i have plans of putting a mildly built 6.0 in an early-mid 80s firebird. i also plan on using a gmpp carbed L92 intake. i'm not worried about hood clearance as i can find a hood to work - it's the cowl i'm concerned with. i know the 4th gen f cars have problems clearing carb style intakes. my buddy did a 3rd gen iroc ls1 conversion (beautiful swap i must say) and it appears he could easily run a carbed single plane intake. anyone running a combo like this? thanks in advance.

There is no problem with it clearing the cowl

awesome, thanks man. appears that car runs pretty strong, i did some reading in the kills section haha. i'll be running a 13:1 374 with L92 heads and a pretty nasty hyd. roller cam. if it turns anything close to yours at the track i'll be stoked. if i have any money left over i'll run a 2 stage plate setup as well, but we'll see.
