NEED HELP 94LTI WIRING HARNESS TO A 1988 CAMARO RS

I HAVE A SLIGHT DILEMMA. I HAVE READ JUST ABOUT ALL THE POST ON THIS SIGHT.I'VE PRINTED OUT EVERY INFORMATION ON THE WIRING HARNESS I CAN FINE. THERE'S JUST ONE PART THATS JUST NOT CLEAR. ON THE 94 LT1 HARNESS THERE'S A SECTION OF WIRES & VAC LINES THAT ARE SPLICED, THAT GOES TO THE VEHICLE FUSE BOX ON THE 1988 CAMARO?
ARE THE COLOR CODES ON THE 94 THE SAME ON THE 88? CAN I JUST SPLICE THE WIRES AT THE FIRE WALL? CAN SOME ON HELP ME WITH WIRING SCHEMATICS ON THIS TYPE OF TASK? WHERE WOULD BE THE PERFECTED LOCATION FOR THE PCM? ALSO THERE'S A FUNKY CONNECTION THAT MAY GO TO A AUTOMATIC TRANS, I'M RUNNING A V8 T5 TRANNY. DO I NEED TO WORRY ABOUT THIS?PLEASE IF ANYONE HAS ANY IDEA ON THIS OR HAD RAN INTO THIS TYPE OF PROBLEM AT ONE TIME,PLEASE HELP ME OUT.

Re: NEED HELP 94LTI WIRING HARNESS TO A 1988 CAMARO RS

Your going to have to get the wiring diagram for your 88' and the wiring diagram for the 94'. Most of the wires you can just splice at the bulkhead connector on the 88'. (i.e coolant temp, oil pressure, starter) Most people would like to have the PCM close to the stock location where the ECM use to be. Mine is in my engine bay where the canister was. If your running a T5 trans you will have to get your computer reprogrammed for a manual trans.
I basically used my chiltons book for wiring diagrams/schematics and few sites on-line.

THANKS JAY. THAT INFORMATION WAS VERY HELPFUL. QUESTION ON THE 94 LT1 WIRING HARNESS, CAN I DISCARD THE WIRING FOR THE AUTOMATIC TRANS AND THERE COMPONENTS?
DK/BLU A15 TRANS MODE LAMP
LT/GRN B7 TRANS 1-2 SHIFT SOLENOID
YEL/BLK B12 TRANS 2-3 SHIFT SOLENOID
LT BLU C11 TRACTION CONTROL SYSTEM "ACTIVE" SIGNAL
RED/BLK C16 TRANS PRESSURE CONTROL SOLENOID HIGH
PINK C28 TRANS RANGE SIGNAL "A"
DK BLU C29 TRANS RANGE SIGNAL "B"
RED C30 TRANS RANGE SIGNAL "C"
BRN D6 TCC PWM SOLENOID (AUTO)
TAN/BLK D11 TCC SOLENOID
YEL/BLK D28 TRANS TEMP SENSOR SIGNAL.
CAN I JUST DISCARD THEM FROM THE WIRING HARNESS?
DO I NEED TO REMOVE THE ORIGINAL RELAY THAT ARE BEHIND THE BRAKE BOOSTER THAT ARE CONNECTED TO THREE WIRES COME OUT OF THE BULK WIRES? THANKS VIC..
