Another guy with LT1 Swap questions...

Ok so i've been working on a 88 RS v6 swap for about a month now. Mostly been waiting on parts and time. So far I have the engine in the car, energy suspension motor mounts, spohn transmission xmember for the T56, 95 z28 rearend, front 2" wheel spacers, 95 z28 rims all the way around, 95 seats, fresh black carpet... vats bypass module wired into the PCM, ac delete pulley. There is a few other things i've done that i cant put my finger on right now... I currently have the complete 95 z sitting in the garage. I have a few questions...

1. I disconnected the c100, c105, ac pressure sensor, c210, c220, c230, and evap temp sensor, and then pulled the engine. Do i need to take any more wiring out of the 95? ie the fuse box and all associated wiring up to the bulkhead? I was thinking all i had to do was wire in the c100, 105, 210, 220 and 230 into the bulkhead connector on the 88.

2. Does anyone have the pinout drawing for the 88's bulkhead connector?

3. Does anyone have the pinouts for all the "c" connectors on the 95? (100, 105, 210, 220, 230)

4. Can someone that has done this before email me at xandarin@tds.net?

I'm very frustrated at this point. The car is almost done. I realized today when I went to install the exhaust that neither the 88's or the 95's exhaust will work. They are both aftermarket kits. 95 has a flowmaster kit and the 88 has a magnaflow. The 88's has y-pipes for the v6 and the 95's doesnt flow properly.

I also realized i forgot to disconnect the slave cylinder line to the tranny when I pulled the lt1, so I have a broken connector. ARG! lol... Any help would be MUCH APPRECIATED!

Thanks, Xandarin

Re: Another guy with LT1 Swap questions...

you'll want to keep the dash wiring harness from the LT1 car too. I used the other dash side portion of all those C connectors and spliced those into my 3rd gen dash harness so that my LT1 engine harness doesn't have to be cut. You will also need the vats module and it's wiring harness from the dash unless you decide to delete the vats programming from the PCM. It's worth it to get the module though, and you can bypass it rather than have to tune it out. I kept the underhood fuse box also. I haven't finished my swap yet, but the underhood fuse box appears to run the fans and the injectors.
