LT1 Engine mounts?

I pulled and sold my 305 out of my 92 RS a few weeks ago. I forgot to pull off the U shaped mounts that are bolted on the engine. I was wondering if I use my 305 K- member mounts with these LT1 engine mounts will it work? Or do I need the U mounts off my 305.

No, you need the mounts off of the 305 or ones similar

Re: LT1 Engine mounts?

Thanks guys, I got in contact with the guy I sold the engine to. He gonna ship me back the motor mounts off the engine. One other thing is that I bought LT1 polyurethane mounts but one is smaller then the other. Do I need 3rd gen 305 polyurethane mounts to go into the shell motor mount casing?

Re: LT1 Engine mounts?

You need to use the frame mounts made for any 3rd gen V8 car.
