| Re: Just a quick ??? since you already have a 95 harness you must adapt your 96 engine to it.. I am running a 96 engine with a converted same year harness.. so similar but the plugs on the harness will be different.
With a 95 harness and 96 engine you will need an older type coil and (i believe) module and different knock sensor to adapt the engine.. you simply leave the cps in place with no plug and don't hook up rear O2s.. You may be able to adapt the plugs on the coil but I am not sure about that since I never had to do it, but they are different.
I ran into trouble with the knock sensor tripping a trouble code (how I found out different years had different sensors).. but pcmsforless or madz28.com can help you out with the program and any questions you might have and I highly recommend contacting them as they have done this stuff a ton more than most.
