process of a ls1 build. yet i do not want to attempt the wiring my self.
i am lookin for a stand alone extended harness ready to plug and play. with some work to do..such as sodering.
i will be gettin rid of
the vats
the egr
air system
traction control
skip shift (1st to fourth)
and rear o2 sensors
anythign else that comes to mind?
i will also run the evap for the fuel system.
does this look about right?
for a decent harness?

lsbirocz. Can you provide more info on what you are doing? I see you said "my 4th gen cluster"... Does this mean you did a 4th gen dash swap as well?
Not sure why you'd want a completely custom harness, especially if you are using the 4th gen dash. Ide be snagging a factory engine and factory body harness. Thats what I did, although Im not using the 4th gen gauge cluster.
You might be looking for something minimalized and cleaner...in which case, looking for a custom harness is pretty much the way to go....or building one. Speartech is probably your best bet for a nice, reliable, perfect fit harness.
One thing in your favor...If you use the 4th gen tank, 4th gen cluster, and factory harness/pcm, you WILL be able to make EVAP function properly. You will probably be the only person with a functioning 4th gen EVAP system.
well the builld consists of a complete ls1 transplant along with the 4th gen dash and and 4th gen plastic fuel tank. im running the feed line and return line. just crossin my fingers that everything will work fine.
im using efi live for diagrams.. and schematics.

Nah.its not really that bad. It sounds like you have a donor car? You can use the 4th gen fuel/evap lines. You will need to cut a section of the lines out and use compression fittings to join it back together. The section is up near the front subframe...it'll be really obvious when you start fiddling with it. But the outcome is nice...the fuel lines come out in the engine bay just about where they did on the 4th gen. So you can use the 4th gen soft line from the lines to the fuel rail if you want, or make your own out of braided.
If I were you, and I was transplanting the entire dash, motor, tank, etc etc....Ide be using as much of the factory wiring as possible. Everything will be plug and play for the most part. You might even be able to upgrade your cars body harness if you are clever enough. Ide rather make things like lights and horns work with that harness than have to figure out motor wiring... Its not too bad, but it can give you fits when you first start out with a pyle of wires.
