ls1 in 92 Camaro

hey im about to a 92 camaro with a ls1 in it....my two questions are how would i go about putting ac in the car????? and also the guy told me the speedo doesnt work...so how would i go about getting that to work???

u will have to notch the factory kmember and modify, i think there is a kmember for use with ac, i use paracing, but ac is not of a concern to me. i will have to verify next time to see if ac works with paracing.

If you don't want to notch the k-member:

I have verified it will clear ( http://www.thirdgen.org/techboard/lt...ointing-2.html (Disappointing) post #63), but for better or worse, went ahead and notched the k-member so the factory f-body AC compressor can be used. So, the bracket kit, compressor, and belt are now available.

Either way, you're going to have to have custom lines fabricated to mate to 3rd gen components, unless you swap in a complete 4th gen AC system.
