my swap is a 2001 fbody ls1. i have the 2001 harness, pcm, stock cam and stock ls6 intake and injectors(all stock for 2001). my question is i have a set of 243 heads from a gto i am installing will the stock pcm work with a different set of heads, does it matter?

You computer will work just fine.

The Mass air flow sensor will see the extra bit of air flow and compensate fueling. The heads alone are not enough to completely throw off the tune.

However, add a big cam, with CNC heads, the computers fueling predictions can be off by more then 30%

thanks. the big cam will be next year. i would like to get the swap done and running this season. sheldon did you sell that auto trans that you where selling?
