aquired an ls 5.3

so at work, we pulled a 5.3 out of an isuzu ascender, it spun a rod bearing.
im trying to find a good crank and 1 rod if i can, to breathe new life into my free mill. i dont have any experience with these mills, any links or parts dealers would be appreciated.

btw, not planning on puting this in my maro, going to my 1500 p/u

Since its a 5.3, a crank from most any LS1 or 6 liter will do. Depending on the year of the 1500 its going in will dictate what you need to look for in regards to the reluctor wheel on the crank. Depending on the year you could even get a crank from an LS2 as well but you should research that first.

well its an 05 engine and a 91 gmc step side. shouldnt be a problem. i found a stroker kit from lunati, but that shlt is 4k. stock is all i need, but i cant find anything, and most salvage yards just sell the entire short block.

just found out this is a 5300 lm4 aluminum block if that matters.
