I know the seller, he is a great guy, I have bought parts from him before and he's awesome to deal with. I figured I'd post this up here in case someone is looking for an LS1 block for their swap. It's located in the St Louis area:
on another note, anyone wanting to piece together the whole motor, i've got everything but the shortblock, so combined, you could end up with a complete ls1 for pretty cheap
Ive had no luck selling a LS1 long block for that much
Around here, a crank goes for about $100, the front and rear covers are about $25 a piece, about the same for the valley cover. That's $175 just in those parts, and then you take the price of a bare block itself PLUS the machine work that has already been done. It's not that bad of a deal I don't think.
