*group purchase* Spohn tubular K-member

EDIT: Hawks is giving us the group purchase, the price is $445 for the tubular Spohn k-member. This is for the mild steel with no add-ons. Any additional options is at your own expense. Call Bruce or Steve at 1-864-855-2694 to confirm your name on the list. This same k-member goes for $515 at spohn.net!

So post up!

This would be without the swap mounts, but you could probably have them throw them in there at a discounted price too. I already have the mounts.

I will call and try to get a price tomorrow. I wouldn't think they would limit you to options since they would make more money the more options you add on.

Re: *group purchase* Spohn tubular K-member

I just talked to someone at Hawk's about 30 minutes ago. He's talking to Bruce and getting a price together. We have to have at least 5 people in the purchase to make it work. I'll know the price later this afternoon. Also, Bruce is going to help explain the thing with the k-member braces that I posted about in another thread.

Re: *group purchase* Spohn tubular K-member

Ok guys, the price is $445 ($50 off the normal Hawks price). This thing goes for $515 direct from Spohn.net so this is actually a pretty decent price.

I need you guys to call Bruce at Hawksthirdgenparts.com to confirm your name on the list. Once we get 5 people they will bill them out. They said if we can get 8-10 people on the list they will take off an additional $25.

Ya that stinks man. I am hoping I can get like two more people in on it to make it work. I think we're at three now including myself.

I'm going to call Bruce tomorrow and give them my credit card number so that when we have 5 people they can just go ahead and bill mine out right away. I will ask how many have confirmed they are in on the purchase, but I don't think we have 5 yet so you should be fine. And yes I asked Bruce and a few of my friends that have this k-member and they all say you don't need the braces.

What is that price for? Steel? Chromemoly? Mounts/no mounts?

Wouldn't a % off, make it easier to calculate with the options? 2%.....3%.....5%.....? Or are the options regular price?

That's mild steel with no add-ons. They *may* give you a little drop in price for the options but you'd have to call and ask them. As of right now, we have 2 confirmed orders!

This is now open for regular sbc k-members! So if you have a car you'd like to put a tubular piece in there but aren't putting an LS1 in it (perhaps LT1?), you can still get in on this!

We now have two confirmed orders!

Re: *group purchase* Spohn tubular K-member

I talked to Steven today on the phone and still nobody else has been put on the list. So I guess nevermind on the group purchase.

I asked them if they could help me out with shipping to forget about the GP and just bill mine out because I for sure still want one...
