truck accessories question

i know, i know, its a bit of an old topic. i know that the brackets aren't gonna fit, but i was wondering if i could just get the car style brackets and use the alt and the ps pump off the truck motor, will they fit on the ls1 brackets? anyone tried this? or have dimensions that would help? thanks guys, nick

I think the truck alt dwarfs the fbody alt

I used the truck alt, with the f-body bracket.

ps- doesn't stand a chance.... all f-body there

For now its easier to use the matching car parts, although there is some parts that allow the use of tpi parts with ls swaps. and even cheeper and better, easier to get ps pump thanls fbody. i designed them especifically around 3rd gens, but work with any other swap.
would u believe u can use a mech fan with ls swap now?
