Can someone with a manual transmission please post a picture of where the fluid reservoir mounts? I've actually got two of these, one that came with my pedal assembly and another that actually came with the lines and stuff with the T56. I'm not sure where it mounts, and one of the reservoirs I have has a bracket on it.
Also, along the same lines, when you're converting from auto to manual, is it necessary to open up a hole in the firewall to feed the hydrolic lines through, and also, how does the line connect to the clutch pedal assembly?

The Master cylinder should have a rod coming out the back. This rod goes through the firewall and connects to the pedal. The master is mounted on the firewall by the brake master. I am not sure if there is a hole stamped on auto cars for the clutch master. I'd have to look lol. I don't have a manual so I don't have a picture either, sorry.
The reservoir bracket mounts on the brake booster stud, which also goes through the brake master cylinder. There are two studs sticking out of the brake booster. Remove the nut on the stud that is on the right side (when looking straight at the booster); slip the clutch master cylinder reservoir bracket on the stud and then; reinstall the nut.

When I first swapped to a t56 years ago I had no idea that there was a specific bracket for the reservoir that mounted it standing off the booster. (no one around me had a 5speed thirdgen then). So I mounted mine directly to the firewall behind the booster and to the inside of the relays. I actually like it back there more than on the bracket too. But, if you're going concourse-esque, mount it on the bracket.

My first go round, I had it installed to the firewall via one of the screws left over from the relay bracket. The only issue with this is when you try to remove the master cylinder, you need to remove the hose from the bottom of the reservoir, because the hose has to snake up behind the booster.
Here is where it was originally. The other problem is its a little tough to get at for filling. Its partially under the cowl lip. Not a big deal...but any drips go right down the firewall, making brake fluid stain lines.
When I installed my Tick, I made a bracket to mimic the stock bracket. Really simple to make, and it bolts to my strut mount bolts. This is before cleanup, paint, and before I tapped the holes.
With it here, its easy to get to, and if i have to remove the master cylinder, i dont have to open the system. The reservoir line is in the open and it all comes out easy. Also, its right next to the brake reservoir, so it sorta flows.
Either way...it works.
