You don't need the low oil level sensor (big sensor on oil pan) cause you don't even have a light for it in your dash. Number 3 is useless as well if you are using your 3rd gen oil pressure sensor.

Did you mean to say Number 1 ?? thats the one I am going to replace with a 3rd gen oil pressure sensor connector.
I havent seen anything close to connector number 3 on the LS1 harness.

I am going to check my Ls1 pan for that connector. Did the LS1 dash have alight for that. I think my 82 had both a gauge and a low oil light. Wonder why they did not put it in the 89-92 dashes.
Oil Pressure Sensor. This is used to bring the oil pressure into the data stream. The early LS use of this sensor is common among Corvette applications. Just about all LS engines today use an oil pressure sensor.

so these were used in LS1's in corvettes an not fbody's. what were they specisfically used for in corvettres?
any way to add them to fbody harness ?
