89' RS 9C1 LT1/T56 swap questions?

I have a 89" RS Camaro w/ stock 2.8L V6/ T5. I have a 95 LT1 from a 9C1 Caprice & T56 from 98 SS. I have almost everything i need to swap it in. I have a few questions though.
1. will the stock exhuast manifolds fit/work with my car
2. do i need some special T56 swap crossmember? or can i just move mine back? I already replace mine with a V8 crossmember.
3. Will my stock driveshaft work with the T56 or is the length wrong?
4. Do i need a new larger Clutch master cylinder for T56?
5. Can i use the stock dual intake setup for the LT1? the TPI 350s used it so i can't see why not.

Re: 89' RS 9C1 LT1/T56 swap questions?

If you T56 is from a 98 SS that means it is from an LS1 car, and the LS1's T56 is different from the LT1's T56. I don't think it's going to work since they have a totally different belhousing / TC.

Re: 89' RS 9C1 LT1/T56 swap questions?

1) Im not sure but externally the LT1 is mostly SBC so anything that came off a 3rd gen V8 car should fit it including headers. Bear in mind that LTx cars use a D port so youll need headers that are 1 5/8" or bigger or the special D port hedmans

2) You can modify yours or fab something up. Its not very hard

3) Stock will fit fine

4) LT1 style T56's should have a sealed master/slave unit, so I dont think you can reuse the 3rd gen piece

5) The intake choked 305's. use it if you want, but itll be super restrictive
