I had my heads milled, can't remember the exact specs on how much was milled, but it bumped my CR to 10.6x:1 with 317 heads, but I have aftermarket pistons (Mahle forged). They're not flat top pistons...I'll have to look at my build sheet and see if the mill number is on there. I posted all the engine specs in my swap thread I think it's on page 3.

First, It looks like I've offended you. If so, I apologize, that was NOT my intent. Second, once you change the pistons, it's no longer an LQ4. The pistons are the only thing that really differentiate the LQ4 compression from the LQ9/LS2 compression. The 317 heads are the leftmost column that's right of the red line, on my "page 2".

Gotcha, I understand. Thanks for clarifying.

L92 heads don't use a LQ4 head gasket, you'd need an LS3 gasket or similiar.

I'm aware of that, which is why I noted that I had gotten lazy and proceeded on that false assumption. But if you choose a slightly thinner gasket to compensate for the slightly larger bore, the resultimg compression will still be so close to what I listed, too close to merit thinking about.
