What Oil Pan?

Got an LS1 for my 91 camaro but it has a truck oil pan. I understand a oil pan from a 4;th gen camaro is a good fit, but from what years? I assume froom the one post i read that a LT oil pan will not work. What other options do i have?

would this work?

Any year LS1 f-body, '98-'02.

Can't say I've heard much about aftermarket pans.

I assume by "LT" you mean "light truck".

Re: What Oil Pan?

You're going to want to get an oil pan from any year LS1 fbody from 1998-2002. Aftermarket, I'm not sure, but I can tell you the GM pans will work fine.

LT1 is Gen II, and you can exchange pans with the later Gen I SBC's with one-piece rear main seal.

But, the LS engines are Gen III, share next to nothing with the earlier SBC's. Oil pans are completely, entirely different.
